JCT’s Sub-Contractor Collateral Warranty for a Funder is designed for use where a warranty is to be given by the sub-contractor to a separate funder who has entered into an agreement with the employer to provide finance for the works.

It can be used with a sub-contract let under the following JCT main contracts:

Standard Building Contract (SBC/Q, SBC/XQ, SBC/AQ)
Intermediate Building Contract (IC) and Intermediate Building Contract with contractor’s design (ICD)
Design and Build Contract (DB)
Prime Cost Building Contract (PCC)
